This Privacy Policy explains what information Chile Tepin ("we", "us") collects when you visit chile-tepin.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you.
Information we collect
- Reservation requests. When you fill out the reservation form we receive the information you type: first and last name, phone number, email address, requested date and time, and party size.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in standard server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or marketing cookies on this Site, and we do not ask you to create an account.
How we use your information
- To contact you about your reservation request and confirm, adjust, or decline it.
- To respond when you call or email us.
- To keep the Site secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing emails or text messages unless you ask us to.
Service providers we use
- Formspree delivers your reservation form to our email inbox. Formspree processes the form data on our behalf and keeps a short-term copy of submissions (currently 30 days) so we can recover a message if an email is lost. See the Formspree privacy policy.
- Google Maps powers the map on our contact section. When the map loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under the Google privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this Site; Google receives your IP address when the font files load.
- Hostinger hosts the Site and keeps the server logs described above.
Online ordering and gift cards
Online orders and gift card purchases are not made on this Site. The "Order Now" buttons take you to our ordering platform, operated by a separate provider at chiletepin.kulacart.net. Any information you enter there, including payment details, is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms. We never see or store your card numbers.
How long we keep information
Reservation emails stay in our restaurant inbox as long as we need them to manage your visit and our records, after which they may be deleted. You can ask us to delete your reservation information at any time using the contact details below.
Your choices
- You can always call us instead of using the form.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
- You can block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, although the embedded map may not display.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
